Questions you might have before your first class:

  1.  I’VE NEVER DONE YOGA BEFORE. CAN I COME PRACTICE?  Absolutely!  All of our scheduled classes are designed for the beginning practitioner — no experience necessary!  Come 20 minutes before class begins and we’ll get you properly set up for your very first practice.

  2. I DON’T HAVE ANY YOGA EQUIPMENT.  WHAT DO I NEED? Bring yourself and some lightweight clothing for your practice.  We’ve got yoga mats, towels, and water available for you to rent or purchase at the studio.

  3. I’M NERVOUS BECAUSE I HAVE INJURIES!  HOW WILL THE PRACTICE WORK FOR ME?  You are in the perfect place, come on in!  We’ve all got physical issues that we are working with, and we want you to feel comfortable and safe as you work through yours.  Let the teacher know if there are specific pains that you are dealing with, and we will do our best to help you work safely and effectively in the room.

  4. WHY THE HEAT?  We practice in a heated room to allow your body to sweat (cooling you down and releasing toxins), facilitate movement and range of motion, and increase your cardiovascular benefits.  Come hydrated and on a fairly empty stomach for the best results from your class.

  5. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PLAN TO PRACTICE?  We encourage you to commit to 3-5 classes a week to receive maximum, therapeutic benefit. You’ll acclimate to the heat, start sleeping better, tone your mind and your body and, overall, just feel better!  Trust us, you won’t regret making the commitment to your health and your life.
